About Coaching
Coaching involves asking the person specifically about what it is that they want in the future, and then talking about that in more detail. In this process, the person is encouraged to identify their particular strengths- ones that they can use to get where they want to be, and also the values that they can act on. By making some small changes initially in the direction they want to take, the person can experience a sense of success which feeds their motivation. It is a process – not a quick fix. It is an investment in one’s well-being, and it is worthwhile.
